Action/Relief
- Be a Foster
- Presented by: Petco Foundation
- Animal shelters are facing the business impacts of COVID-19: staffing shortages, potential slowdown in adoptions, in some cases an increase in animals coming in, and potential government-imposed shutdowns. Fostering opens up an additional spot at your local shelter or rescue to help even more animals. It also allows the pet to get used to home life and takes them away from the stress of a shelter. With the help of Petco Foundation’s “Be a Foster” campaign, you can connect to a shelter near you to help vulnerable pet populations during this difficult time.
